Premier Turf Solutions, formerly known as A & J Lawncare, LLC, has been a family business for over a decade.  Albert Hanselman started the business as a part-time endeavor because he loved the look of a freshly groomed lawn.  In March 2022, he decided to retire after 34 years in school education, with 30 of those as a school administrator.   Following his retirement, his business grew to the point that it became a full-time thing.   

Lucas Hanselman has always had a love for the outdoors.  When only a teenager he began working at Mystic Hills Golf Course in Culver, Indiana.   Following high school, Lucas attended college and studied turf sciences at Indiana Purdue Ft. Wayne (IPFW) and Ivy Tech Community College.   Both during and after college, Lucas worked at different golf courses, including time as an assistant golf course superintendent at Chesapeake Run in North Judson, Indiana.   

Having a passion for hardscape and irrigation work, Lucas went to work for one of the larger landscape companies for the past eleven years.    

Recently, we decided to combine our knowledge and experience, and we partnered to form Premier Turf Solutions.
